    i need to get rid of a pop up ad program on my laptop


    i some how got pc app store ads on my laptop, they just pop up and i have to exit out of them. they go over any program that is already running, but i cant find it in my task manager and i cant find whatever app or program is running it, how do i find it to get rid of it? the bottom of the ad says, " PC app store Copyright 2023 this is a relatively new occurrence, and started after i uninstalled mcafee, i uninstalled mcafee because it was doing much the same thing. popping up over any program already running to tell me that i didnt have any security issues. i couldnt figure out how to get it t

    this is a relatively new occurrence, and started after i uninstalled mcafee, i uninstalled mcafee because it was doing much the same thing. popping up over any program already running to tell me that i didnt have any security issues. i couldnt figure out how to get it to stop so after my subscription ran out i cancelled it, the ads for mcaffee continued so i uninstalled it, only to continue getting ads for mcafee via this pc app store.
