Windows 10: I need to install Windows 10 on new hard drive

I'll be getting a new hard drive in the next couple months, and quite possibly AFTER the one-year free upgrade limitation. So, how do I install Win10 on a new drive without losing the free upgrade that I've had since last July?

Windows 10 hard drive needs to be replaced

I am getting messages from Windows 10 diagnostics that my 750GB hard drive, the only one originally in the computer, needs to be replaced. I bought a 1TB hard drive and added it to the computer. I can see it in Disk Management and can see it is not formatted
as a boot drive like the original 750GB. How do I get Windows 10 moved onto the new hard drive, or how do I proceed to recover contents of the failing 750GB hard drive on the 1TB drive, or how do I manage to do a new install of Windows 10 on the new hard drive
and wipe out the old hard drive, or what? The message says I need a new hard drive but it gives no indication of how o proceed to make a new Windows 10 C: drive, which is what I need. This was originally a Windows 7 computer and it has been upgraded online
to Windows 10, latest version. Thanks.

 

HARDDRIVE ISSUES

OK Kennos so, you are OK up to and including get new Hard Drive

Do not disconnect the XP Hard Drive before installing Windows 10 - the Windows 10 installation Media needs to see that installed operating system so it loads the boot loader

Connect new Hard Drive

Install Windows 10 onto new Hard Drive

Then when you boot your system, you will get a pale blue screen with a choice of booting into Windows XP or Windows 10

 

You can replace the HDD on the PC that already has been upgraded..
As that PC has digitial entitlement regardless of HDD
