Windows 10: I need to log onto my windows 10 computer, but I forgot my password.

I recently changed my PIN because someone knew, and I don't remember it. I know you're supposed to log in through Microsoft, but it's using my old, deleted email address. I can't get a code to log in because of that, so I need help cause I'm locked out.

Forgot Windows 10 password...

So I fired up my laptop in order to use it to flash a router without mucking around with the rest of my networking... and I forgot the password to log in. Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling windows, or downloading a Linux LiveCD? (If I do have to download something, I'd prefer the file size to be as small as possible, because of evil data caps)

Forgot Windows 10 password...

If it's a Microsoft account, you should be able to change the password via another computer at live.com and the password should also change to match on the computer (obviously make sure it has internet access first). The password is verified online during login.
