    Random Mac for Onboard NIC

    Hi

    Does random mac feature applied to a laptop onboard NIC besides WiFi connection?

    Reason I asked is that I already have this feature disabled for WiFi connection and I'm using onboard NIC, however I noticed from my DHCP leases, the mac shown from the connection is always different, it is not showing the physical mac for the onboard NIC.

    Creative Labs Onboard Audio Issues Windows 10 Version 2004

    OK, I think I nailed it. Here are steps, but I think it was the last step that finally resolved it.

    1. Disable onboard audio in the BIOS
    2. Uninstall all audio drivers from Device manager
    3. Re-enable onboard audio in the BIOS

    4. Install EVGA x299 Dark Creative Drivers using Windows Vista Service Pack 2 compatibility mode (the installer, not the driver as #4 suggested).

    Thanks for the response. Yes it does sound odd hence posting here to see anyone encountered the same as me. I need to onboard MAC Device in window defender.so please let me guide how can onboard.. :)

    Onboard NIC : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (that's the only one listed other than the Intel WiFi)

    Driver Date: 14/7/2016

    Driver Version : 10.10.714.2016
