    I need to recover files from a PCI locked hard drive


    I accidentally turned on PCI LOCK on msconfig and my pc didn't want to boot, it kept getting stuck on the sign in screen. I then perfomed a clean installation of windows 10 on the computer but using a different hard drive because i have very valuable contents stored on my original hard drive. The clean installation worked but now i want to know if the PCI LOCK will remain on my original hard drive if i put it back in, if so, is there a way i could access my files from it and transfer them to another hard drive?

    Does not work on a windows pc which is what the OP probably intended

    windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
    Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows
