I need to recover my computer the way it was yesterday. I tried to download my pictures from my phone today and when I did everything went crazy.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

 

DOWNLOAD PICTURES ON CD'S TO COMPUTER FOR WINDOWS 10

My friends, I am not referring to burning pictures to a CD. My problem is exactly how indicated in my first cry for help. Please let me summarize my situation. When I take pictures with my camera, I take the camera to Walmart to have the pictures developed
as well as create a KODAK picture CD which, under the previous Windows 8.1, I could transfer/download into my computer under "My Pictures" file/folder - the total CD content (all the pictures on
the CD) could be downloaded with simple steps even I, as a computer illiterate, could do without any problems. At this time I have 10 files, each full of pictures, in My Pictures" folder or whatever we want to call it. With the
free installation of Windows 10, I have had had nothing but headaches - one problem after another! What I would need at this time is a step by step guide, like the one I was using for Windows
8.1, to download my current CD, full of 104 pictures, to "My Pictures" file/folder.

Unfortunately, the suggestion to "select" specific photos from the CD to download is not working for me. I must be able to download the CD contents in one shot, as I was able to do under Windows 8.1. If I am confusing you, it's not your fault, but only
mine. I am confident that someone will have an "elementary" way to help me as I cannot afford to retain the services of a computer wizard.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
