    I need to use my physical ram on a virtual machine and want to use the virtual ram for the pc.


    I have a windows 10 virtual machine that I want to give most of my RAM to. I then decided to use virtual ram so I could use it for my system. If I use all of my 8 gigabytes of physical RAM for the virtual machine, will still be able to use virtual RAM for my windows PC to function?

    Windows uses half my physical RAM for Virtual

    This happens in both 10 and 11. If I do a fresh install, it does not set up virtual memory reservations but appears during Windows Updates.

    This is not a task or program Task Manager shows 12% RAM use

    MSINFO shows:

    Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 64gb

    Total Physical Memory 63.7gb

    Available Physical Memory 55.8gb

    Total Virtual Memory 73.2gb

    Available Virtual Memory 63.2gb

    Page File Space 9.5gb

    I have unplugged the RAM sticks, moved them to different slots, and used different combinations with the same 50% allocation to virtual in all instances.

    WHAT IS VIRTUAL RAM??????

    MY PC HAS 2 GB RAM INSTALLED.

    IT AUTOMATICALLY SETS 2 GB AS VIRTUAL RAM.

    I SEE MY PC RAN SLOW

    SO I SET VIRTUAL RAM TO 8 GB.

    NOW PERFORMANCE JUST IMPROVED.

    What is virtual ram??????

    What Is the use of virtual ram????

    How is it works??????

    Is there anything to do with it?????

    Please explain??????

    Increasing your Virtual RAM will not make your PC faster because drive access is much slower than RAM access, how much RAM do you have on your PC?
