    I need windows 10 home, but it keep giving me windows 10 education as a clean install... WHY?!


    Hi, long story short, when I bought this laptop, it came with Windows 7. When windows offered free upgrade to windows 10, I upgraded...so then, anniversary update happened... and for some weird reason, my HOME GAMING LAPTOP upgraded (not by choice) to windows 10 EDUCATION...


    Since then, I couldn't activate... but since I can keep using, I didn't bother with it. So, fast forward, I need to do a clean install of windows...

    I have specifically download the iso that stated "THIS ISO COMES WITH WINDOWS 10 HOME AND PRO EDITION".


    I have done clean install THREE times in a row. It's still WINDOWS 10 EDUCATION... WHY?!


    When I do clean install... there's never any prompt asking me to input a product key.


    So, I have a legit windows 10 home key. I don't have a windows 10 education key, because I'm a working member of the society, definitely not a student anywhere anymore and this is my gaming laptop at home... it is very exasperating... I want to activate my windows so I can change some settings...


    How can I actually get this windows to install as WINDOWS 10 HOME?! Even changing the product key doesn't work. I'm very aggravated right now sigh...

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

    I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
