Windows 10: I no longer have the email address that I have on my laptop or the phone number and can't...

I apparently changed my sign on PIN to my laptop. I contacted you all and waited 30 days to be able to make a new account and set a new password, which I got but the point is, my laptop is under *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and in order to change my PIN I have to be able to receive a code through an old phone number which was 440-539-5989. I guess I should have asked how to get into my laptop when I don't have access to the email or phone number? I'm sorry

First, when sending an email to a contact and you start typing their name, Windows Phone should list out all the emails for that contact, in the order they are listed in the Contact Card. So the first email address would be the one you set first. If you
want them in a different order, re-enter them in the Contact Card.

Second, you are correct as I opened a Sent email and could not determine which email address I used. However, I always select the first email address in the list, knowing that I've already sorted the order of my contacts' email address (personal, work,
other, ...). The best solution is to add this suggestion to be able to detect which specific email was used to the official

Windows Phone Feature Suggestions box.

Third, when you look at your phone history, it should read something like this:

Contact Name
Missed call, Wed 11:31p, Mobile

(999) 999-9999
Missed call, Wed 11:31p




In the 1st example above, Mobile is the number they called from, according to my contact information for that person. In the 2nd example, someone called me that was not on my contact list.

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
