Windows 10: I ONLY want to get email and text ALERTS not sign-in codes.

I only want to use authenticator app or USB security key for logins.The only options I have to disable email and text login codes are to delete my email and phone # but then there's no way to get alerts is there?I must be missing something really simple because this is a huge gapping chasm in the MS security model if I'm not.Thanks!-BB-

text message alert sounds?

  What is the make and model of the phone?
  
• 
  When you say ‘’cannot find how to set text message alert sounds’’ are you referring to setup a particular sound/alert for the message or there is no sound alert at all when you received the message?
  

I also like to inform you that, you cannot setup a different alert sound except the inbuilt sound alert. If you refer to setting up your choice sound alert, I suggest you to provide your valuable suggestion and feedback using feedback app.

repeat text and email alerts? It notifies me once and then never again

The alert for a text or an email will only sound once, although the notification will stay on your screen. You could suggest that an option to repeat the alert be added to the phone here:

This is not supported by Windows Phone and is a frequently asked request. I would suggest adding your vote to one of the User Voice items that asked for repeating alerts. Like this one:

Repeating alert, after receiving a text, email or voicemail.
Microsoft uses the User Voice site to solicit feedback and feature requests.
