Windows 10: I ordered Windows 11 download and didn't copy the product key and never got a confirmation...

I ordered Windows 11 download and didn't copy the product key and never got a confirmation email. In my account it shows I bought the copy, but no license is provided. I am trying to use it in Parallel on a Mac and can't login to my MS account through Parallel and can't license the software in emulation. Please advise thanks

Order History missing the Product key/Install option

I ordered 2 copies of the Windows 10 Home (download) edition from Microsoft's website and I understand Microsoft does not have any record of the product keys, nor do they offer refunds on that type of order.

The instructions given by Microsoft to retrieve those keys is:

1. Go to Order History, find Windows 10, and then select Product key/Install.
   
2. Select Copy to copy the key, and then select Install.
   
3. Select Download tool now, and follow the instructions.
   
4. A wizard will help you through the steps to install. You can install Windows 10 on a PC or a Mac.
   

The problem is that the order in question does not have a Product key/Install option. Is this a bug with Microsoft's website?

 

Product Key not on Order Page

I ordered an upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Pro recently. The upgrade occurred automagically, but I now have no product key. I spent some time and went to my account, finding the order and selecting it. Microsoft support under "Product Key" says to

Go to Order history, find ,
and then select Product key/Install

I looked at the order summary and detail on Order History. There was no Product Key. Much appreciate some help.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding your Windows 11 product key. If you purchased Windows 11 from the Microsoft Store, the product key should be included in the confirmation email that you received after making the purchase. If you can't find the email, please check your spam or junk folder.



If you still can't find the product key, you can try signing in to your Microsoft account and checking your order history. The product key should be listed there as well.
