    Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse rubber disintegrating

    I have purchased over 100 of the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse (H3S-00003) over the last 3 years. This is a great mouse and the vast majority of them work great. However, I have had a couple of them have problems with the black rubber grip on
    the left hand side of the mouse. This is where your thumb rests when using the device. The black rubber literally begins disintegrating as in this picture. It's like there is a flaw in the rubber composite material. Anyone else have this happen?

    New Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse

    My previous Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse has the rubber on the side coming off. Purchased a new mouse, same kind. Now the new mouse works fine but now the Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard is not working. Will the new ergonomic mouse work with my 'old'
    ergonomic keyboard? If so, what do I need to do?

    Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse rubber disintegrating

    Update: Contacted Microsoft Answer Desk and they told me the support for this mouse is "END OF LIFE". That's a load of bull as the "Sculpt Comfort mouse" is still listed for sale on the Microsoft site: Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse – Microsoft Store

    So they offered me a choice of 4 cheaper alternatives (only 2 of the 4 were bluetooth mice).

    My mouse is only 4 months old and Microsoft still sells this very mouse. I really believe I should receive the exact same mouse.
