Windows 10: I pressed the turn off button on my computer and then forcefully shut it down by holding...

I pressed the turn off button on my computer and then forcefully shut it down by holding the button for 5 seconds, when i then started my computer the resolution was changed, my background keeps flickering and the mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen and is also flickering. I can move the mouse but it almost instantly gets moved back to the middle, i’ve tried factory resetting with the keep files option on, but that didn’t solve the issue.

Hold the power button for 15 seconds or so. When you press the power button for a second or two, it will go into Sleep Mode. Hold it longer and it will shut off. Boot into Windows go to Search and type power options and press enter and change what the power button does and change it to Shut Down. I find pressing the power button before the Windows logo comes on usually shuts down or reboots right away. Once that image appears it changes to having to hold the button down for 6 seconds or a bit longer.
