Windows 10: I purchased excel and it's not showing up on my new laptop. An old device is listed under...

I purchased Excel and it is not showing up on my new laptop. I have an old devise listed under my Microsoft account. How do I get it moved over? I no longer have the old laptop. Please advise

A couple of Excel files will not show up in jump list

EDIT* It has something to do with the brown file box icon on the file, which for briefly looking up has something to do with OneDrive, but these files are actually DropBox files... I had to save as and rename the files slightly to get them to show up in Recent., so something is definitely messed up.

New laptop (only 2 weeks old) with Windows 11 running... I have a handful of Excel files that I use regularly and have had them pinned in my taskbar Jump List for years (previous laptop was running windows 10) and now on the new laptop, a couple of those Excel files that will not show up in the taskbar jump list's recent list so I can pin them. I have cleared all Recent history several times , unchecked and checked Quick Access option, turned "Show recently opened items in Start, Jump List and File Explorer" off and on several times, moved the files to a new location, opened and closed them several times and STILL these files will not show up in the Recent Excel jump list I don't know if this is related or not but when I originally set up the new Windows 11 laptop, I copied my Windows 10 Quick Access list for File Explorer over and it also copied my pinned jump list but I had a driver causing issues and had to roll things back and then some of my pinned Jump List files were getting a message " The item you selected is unavailable. It might have been moved, renames or removed. Do you want to remove it from the list?" Super frustrating, I just want things to work like they are supposed to... any ideas why some files will not show up in the Recent Jump List and how to fix?

Old Laptop shows up on devices list but has no BitLock key

My old laptop got fried in an electrical surge and died, it can't be turned on. The BitLock key is required to recover what was on it, which wasn't backed up anywhere, but it doesn't exist. The laptop's decription appears on the devices list in my microsoft account, but not on the BitLock list. The old laptop was a Windows 10. What can I do?

 

Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

Please follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo.
• Go to Settings (gear icon).
• Select Network and Internet.
• Then Wi-Fi.
• Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
• Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
