Windows 10: I purchased minecraft java a while ago and it is not showing up as I own it.

I have the reciept and everything in my email. Please restore my access to minecraft. Thanks.

Purchased Multiple Copies Of Minecraft Versions, But Need Minecraft - Java Edition.

If you have purchased several copies of Minecraft from Mojang, then I suggest you to refer the
Mojang refunds policy and check their refund policy.



If you want to swap your editions of Minecraft that you have purchased, please
Contact Mojang Support and they will help you with this.



If you have purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, then I suggest you to refer
Returning items you bought from Microsoft Store for exchange or refund
and check if you can get a refund.



As you need the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can follow the steps mentioned in
How do I install Minecraft: Java Edition? and install
the Java Edition of Minecraft on your computer.



Before purchasing the Java Edition of Minecraft, I suggest you to refer the system requirements for installing the Java Edition of Minecraft from
Minecraft: Java Edition system requirements.

Minecraft Java Edition not showing my purchase from Mojang

I'm trying to play Minecraft Java Edition, installed on a new PC, but, the launcher doesn't show that I own it. I had it on a previous computer that was destroyed. The Minecraft launcher shows that I own Minecraft for Windows. But not Minecraft Java Edition. I actually have bought this 4 times now. I don't want to purchase it again. How do I associate my purchase receipt from March 30, 2020 to my account? Thank you!

If you have bought Minecraft before, you’re now getting the other edition for free. Woot! Follow these steps to redeem it:

Go to the Microsoft Store listing for Minecraft: Java & Bedrock for PC.

Sign-in to the Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account.

Once you’re signed in, instead of a “Buy” button you should see a button that says “Get.” Click this button – and now you own both editions!

HOW DO I RUN OR PLAY EITHER VERSION OF MINECRAFT?

Once you’ve completed the steps above, including logging into the Microsoft Store, you can now download the Minecraft Launcher.

To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.
