Windows 10: I purchased visio 2013 back before the whole microsoft account thing - now need help...

I purchased visio 2013 back before the whole microsoft account thing - now i cant install visio because my current email account that i now use for everything is different from the address that the product is linked to when purchased it all those years ago but im the same person how can i transfer the one product to my new account - i read something about there has to be an invite but i dont see a way to do that

First step is to uninstall Visio 2013 from the current computer it is installed on.

Click Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features

Scroll through the list

Select Visio 2013

Click Uninstall

Proceed to install Visio 2013 on the new computer

If you don't have the reinstall media for Visio 2013, you can download it from the following link:

After reinstall Visio, you will likely need to contact support to reactivate it since it was previously installed and in use on another computer.

https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-vis... - you'll see "Visio 2013 resources" and then download now under download office 2013.

Click on that link, and log in with your MS account, and see if you can download visio.

Where and how did you buy your Microsoft Visio license ?

If your version of Microsoft Visio is recent enough (starting from Visio 2016), your license is linked to your Microsoft account.

Just head to https://account.microsoft.com/services , while being logged into the account you used to activate Visio. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you should see your Visio license. From there, just select the “Install” button and follow the steps. You should be good to go.
