Can I transfer Windows 10 Pro, which I purchase a few months ago, from my old computer to my new computer?

The Windows 10 Pro upgrade would be tied to the old computer and is not transferable. I believe it will be necessary to purchase Windows 10 Pro.

Try the following steps:

To upgrade, select the Start button, then select Settings >
Update & security > Activation.

• If you have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, and Windows 10 Home is currently activated on your device, select
  Go to Store and you'll be prompted to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free.
• If you have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, but Windows 10 Home isn't activated on your device, select
  Troubleshoot, and then follow the steps to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.
• If you don't have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Pro is available for purchase from the Store.

Hi Karen, the version of Windows 10 Pro, did you purchase it separately to the old laptop (Retail Version) or did it come pre-installed on the old laptop (OEM version)

If the Windows 10 Pro is an OEM copy it does not have transfer rights

If it is a Retail copy, do you still have the product key or is it linked to your Microsoft account?

I purchased a new computer which came with Windows 10 Regular. My old computer had Windows 10 Pro and I gave the computer to my spouse. She has no need for Pro features, but I do. How can I transfer the Pro version to my new computer accepting that the
old computer will revert to the regular Windows 10.
