Windows 10: I purchased Windows 10 & keep getting error 800F020B - install failed. Going from 8.1 and...

I have tried to find answers for an entire week. I have tried ALL troubleshooting I can look up. Can anyone help? I'm 3 weeks past a deadline I need this update for.

MS Virtual Support Assistant provides a hyper link to Windows 8.1 Update Troubleshooter. That link generates an Error 404 message that the file can't be found, and suggests it no longer exists or has been renamed. Reporting this Error to Microsoft has
failed to generate any "fix". Does this Windows 8.1 Troubleshooter exists? If so, what's the correct link/address? Windows 8.1 most recent monthly rollup installed (early October 2020) installed. Updates since then are downloading, but do not install, and
generate an 800F020B message under Windows Update "More Information" link.

windows keeps telling me i have an update that i need to install and but everytime i try to install the update i get the error code 800F020B. could someone tell me how to fix it so i could do the update. i am running windows 7 professional. if there
is anyone who can help i am not what you would call computer smart so i would need step by step directions on how to make the fix. thanking you all .
