I Purchased Windows 11 Pro the downloadable version and I clicked on download and it's giving me an error after I select my language English. See error belowNot sure what's going on I tried another computer and that would not allow it either. I see a couple of people have the same problem. I did check to make sure I was not on a VPN, I made sure my Language and region on my computer was right, & I made sure my Location in Privacy and Security setting was on. Also, I was supported to get an email confirmation with my licenses key, but I have not got that. I do see the purchase on my credi

To stop the download, uninstall the KB3035583 update (under "Control Panel > Windows Update > Installed Updates").


To get rid of the C:\$Windows.~BT folder:

• Right-click on your C: drive.
• Select "Properties".
• Click on [ Disk Cleanup ]
• After the initial scan: If you have a [ Clean up system files ] button, click it and wait for the second scan to finish.
• Scroll down the list and look for "Temporary Windows installation files" (its size should be in the gigabytes range); check the box.
• Click on [ OK ] to start the clean-up.

^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.
