Can't upgrade to Windows 11 pro using product key.

Hello,

I have purchased a new laptop with Windows 11s. I need to upgrade to Windows 11 pro for work. I have switched out of S mode and then used my product key (change product key) to try to upgrade to windows 11 pro. Each time it says it has successfully updated, but then in my settings still says I have Windows 11 home, and i still keep seeing the option to upgrade to 11 pro and change my product key again. Can anyone please help how I can upgrade to pro? Thanks.

1. If you have a Windows 11 Pro product key, select Start > Settings > System > Activation. Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character Windows 11 Pro product key. Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
   
2. If you don’t have a Windows 11 Pro product key, select Start > Settings > System > Activation. Under Upgrade your edition of Windows, select Open Store. Make sure you’re signed in with your Microsoft account to purchase Windows 11 Pro. After you confirm your purchase, you’ll be prompted to install Windows 11 Pro and restart your PC.

From the current point of view, it seems that you have got a Windows 11 Pro key from the license key supplier. In such cases, there is no need to uninstall Windows 11 Home and then reinstall Windows 11 Pro. The premise is that the key is genuine. Considering the current situation, you should check the key that the license key supplier sells to you according to the price of the license. Is it compliant.
