Discus and support I put a Dell optiplex 3420 hard drive in my HP PAVILION now getting no bootable device in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have the operations disk for the optiplex3420 Dell hard drive I put it in and it went through all the way but afterwords it had me do the same thing...     I put a Dell optiplex 3420 hard drive in my HP PAVILION now getting no bootable device


    I have the operations disk for the optiplex3420 Dell hard drive I put it in and it went through all the way but afterwords it had me do the same thing as when I started the disk is there a way I can get my HARD DRIVE to boot up in my HP PAVILION also when I go into the BIOS I don't have much to choose from like on my other computers and I can't update my BIOS cuz I can't get into the computer to do it can anyone help me the sad thing is I also have a HP notebook 15 which I put it in and it loaded no problem is that because the notebook 15 came with Windows 10 and I am running into problems bec

    I can not format laptop HP Pavilion 15t-eg0000 from external bootable

    I have some issue on the windows of my new laptop. I downloaded WIN 10 iso file from Microsoft website then attached to the external USB via RUFUS app. The USB is bootable and recognized by the laptop but the local drive is not showing on the list of the drive. Is this a new security step on the BIOS? Please help me to sort out this issue.

    Did you recently make any changes on your Dell Studio and HP Pavilion machines?

    Could you please provide us the version, edition and built number of the operating system of all the computers?

    Are you able to access Sony Vaio and Dell Inspiron machines from HP pavilion and Dell Studio using their IP addresses?

    To check, open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and the R key together on both (HP Pavilion and Dell studio) machines.

    Type ‘\\IP address of Sony Vaio machine’

    Run the same command for Dell studio machine.



    I suggest you to try with the steps mentioned below.

    Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and the R key together (on Dell Studio and HP pavilion).

    Type ‘Services.msc’.

    Find each of the services in the list below. On each service, right-click, select Properties, and set Startup type to Automatic (Delayed start), then click Apply and OK.

    1: Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost).

    2: Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub).

    3: Network Connections (NetMan).

    4: UPnP Device Host (UPnPHost).

    5: Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRPSvc).

    6: Peer Networking Grouping (P2PSvc).

    7: Peer Networking Identity Manager (P2PIMSvc).



    Also make sure that TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service is enabled.

    Reboot the computers and see if the devices are visible.
