Windows 10: I put unallocated space in my c drive and it didn't work

I need space on my pc, and I don't use my D drive, so I watched some tutorials on YouTube and they said I could delete my D drive and put the space in my C drive. So I deleted my D drive but I couldn't extend my C drive for some reason so I watched another tutorial on YouTube and it said the unallocated space had to be beside the C drive so I deleted my recovery thing but I realized I had made a stupid mistake since my D drive was in disk 1 and my C drive was in disk 0. I thought at least I had 500gb but when I clicked extend on my C drive nothing happened Unless the 500gb was actually 500mb

Hi Travis,

It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

• In Disk Management, right-click on (C which appears next to the
  Unallocated partition.
  
• Select Extend.

Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.

To work with non-adjacent unallocated space you'll need third-party software. This type of software is known as partition software or re-partition software, like EaseUS Partition Master or Paragon Partition Manager. To find these and others, look on the
internet for professional reviews of partition managers.

Okay if I make an unsolicited suggestion? This is complicated software, so please invest the time to learn how to use it. There is no 'go-back' or 'do-over' when using partition software.
