Windows 10: I ran a System Restore and now I can’t open the internet.

What do I do now?

I did all these things:

ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and got message that it had run successfully;

rebooted;

created restore point;

downloaded apps;

rebooted;

opened system restore;

searched for affected programs and was shown recently loaded app to be deleted;

ran system restore;

got the same message

Frustrating.

 

Missing icons / buttons after System Restore

To address your concern, we suggest that you try to undo the restore or pick another restore point.

Please follow these steps to access system restore:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.
  
• Search Control Panel for Recovery.
  
• Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.

Internet Explorer won't open

Hi,

• If you cannot start Internet Explorer, you can open the settings window by pressing Windows Key + R, typing "inetcpl.cpl" in the Run box, and then pressing Enter. After the
  window is open, follow the steps that are described in the "How to reset Internet Explorer settings" section.

If above steps failed to solve.

• Try to create new user account and then open IE.

Or

• Try clean installation method to reset your system.
