Windows 10: I received error 0x800f0831 the download was 100 % but start installing but getting the error.

What the reason for error? Also get information to contact support.

Error Code Installing Oblivion (Kinda Urgent?)

that's a Direct X runtime error.

Install the DX 9c Winter 2005 install of DX9.
download it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Reinstall your video card driver(you might get away with skipping this step, if not you gotta start over)

Now re-install the game. DO NOT let it install DX9 on your computer for you.

Windows 10 updates - Error 0x800f0831

I have a persistent 0x800f0831 error on a couple of Windows 10 Pro (build 19044) machines. It's been weeks since Updates are stuck, and I get this error.

I have tried whatever method I could find:

• Followed the steps provided by the Microsoft support chatbot, i.e. running DISM (/scanhealth, /checkhealth, /restorehealth).
  
• Run the Updates additional troubleshooter.
  
• Tried various (popular it seems) methods found on the internet, including stopping and starting update-related services while deleting various windows folders etc.
  

Nothing works. I am open to other suggestions. Machines are i5 16GB RAM.

Any more tips are apprieciated.

 

KB4515384 error 0x800f0831

Hi. I have done several attempts to install the update KB 4515384 but it will not work. I'm always receiving the error code 0x800f0831.

(2019-09, kumulativ uppdatering för Windows 10 version 1903 för x64-baserade system (KB4515384 - fel 0x800f0831)

The download seems to work correctly and also the installation seems to work as it should, it take time and I can see the % increasing and also reach 100 % but then the error message occur





What to do?
