    Can't detect new graphics card

I recently bought a new graphics card for my notebook, it was a Nvidia Quadro 3000m. The first time I start my machine after installing, it didn't show up on the Device Manager list so I restarted, then it showed up on the list so I was able to install the
driver and got it to work. Then until 3 days ago, I started to notice quite a bit of lag in my game, the game wasn't that graphical demanding so it was kinda weird so I went on to check stuff and found out that the card isn't showing up on the Device Manager
list anymore, I also checked the BIOS, it wasn't there.

Someone has suggested drowngrading to Windows 7 but I have to back-up and download everything and I'm not sure if it's gonna work or not so I won't do that until I'm really desperate

Please help me fix this, thanks in advance

  3. Graphic card and game crashing

If this is the first time playing this game on your PC, it could be the game. Some games have bugs and only the Card manufacturer can fix these issues.

If this is the case, I suggest to go to nVidia website and look in the forum or contact them.

If this is not the case and worked before as mentioned by Greg, then you may need to start checking your drivers or looking in the nVidia graphics settings app and try adjusting settings.

If worse come to worse and you just updated to the recent v1803 creators update, then I suggest to revert back to windows v1709 and download and install windows update tool and block v1803 from installing again.

Or, if you have Pro or enterprise, then you can postpone v1803 for up to 365 days in settings>>Update and security>>advanced options.

    Game crashing.

    Hi Nini,

The error message that you received when you played the game means that the graphics card driver needs an update. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you update the graphics card driver by following the steps below:

    • Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
    • Expand one of the categories to find the name of your display adapter, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right-click your graphics
      card and select Update Driver.
    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
    • If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver:

    • Open the Device Manager.
    • Right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the display adapter.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

You may also run the game in compatibility mode to make it work on your Windows 10 PC by following the steps below:

    • Go to the game folder and right click on the setup file.
    • Click on Properties and go to the Compatibility tab.
    • Under the Compatibility mode, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select the operating system where the game is compatible.
    • Let the drivers install and launch the game again

Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.

If you think this was useful, do not hesitate to "mark it as an answer" to help those who are facing the same problem.
