I recently added a new SSD drive into my Lenovo laptop and the Lenovo service center downloaded the Windows 10 Pro in the laptop When I try to sign in / add my Microsoft Account to the laptop I am asked for my Current Windows Password which I dont remember as I had bought this laptop more than 3 years ago?

stuck after adding SSD to my new Lenovo desktop

I planned to migrate Windows 10 from my new Lenovo desktop's C: drive with a 1T HDD to a newly-installed SSD. Cloning the OS (and a few other C: files) to the new SSD with EaseUS Todo seemed to go successfully, but I don't know how to complete the process
- here's why....

The Lenovo boots successfully when ONLY the HDD drive is disconnected, and the C: drive is the SSD. All installed programs run normally.

But when I restart with both drives connected, I have a Windows A: drive (SSD) and Windows C: drive, and don't know which I'm booting from. I can't use Disk Manager (or EaseUS Todo) to wipe / reformat the HDD, because it has a boot partition, and neither
software will let me.

I don't care what letter drive the SSD is, as long as I can boot from it, and use the HDD however I want, but I can't get there. What do I do now? This can't be a very hard problem to solve, but I am very eager to hear suggestions on how to proceed. Thanks

Lenovo warranties - anyone know the details?

I had a Lenovo Y470 before that I had to RMA because it had a defective RAM slot. I was given 1 year shop warranty (If it had any defects I just return it to the shop I bought it from) and another extra 1 year warranty from Lenovo (I had to ship it to a Lenovo service center for repairs/replacement). I only noticed the defect approximately 1 1/2 years after purchase when I decided to add another 4gb of RAM. I had to pay for shipping to the Lenovo Service center but they shouldered the return shipping. Luckily we have a service center here in the Philippines so shipping cost was minimal. I received the unit 2 weeks after I sent it in. That's excellent service for me based on experience my friends have had with Asus, Acer, and HP. Shortest time they received a replacement/repaired unit was 2 months. I don't know how warranties are handled in your area but that was my experience with Lenovo. If I ever buy a laptop again, It'd be another Lenovo. *Smile
