Windows 10: I recently bought a TP-Link TG-3468 Rev 1.2 PCiE ethernet adaptor, unfortunately my desktop...

I have tried everything I have found online with no luck.I've reset the adaptors, changed which PCiE slot the card was in, swapped between 4 different drivers from the ethernet card's manufacturer and Turned LAN off and on using the BIOS.They know eachother are there but refuse to communicate. The motherboard Ethernet port doesn't work either, both the motherboard and the chip definitely receive signal but the computer cannot use / identify it.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just keep going round in circles.

Error trying to install a TP-Link TG-3468 PCI-E Ethernet NIC

PC is a Dell Optiplex 3010 Win 10 20H1 19043.1165 (No network yet) 8GB RAM Getting the following error when I try to install the driver for a TP-Link TG-3468 PCI-E Ethernet NIC I am installing since the onboard NIC doesn't work.

I tried this driver but got the same error:

None of these commands work, all get an error:Error: 0x800f0806 The operation could not be completed due to pending operations Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth SFC /scannow Any suggestions on how to fix this appreciated. I can collect any requested data but it takes some time as I have to copy it to a fl;ash drive and move it to another computer to upload here. I can do a clean install if necessary as I have full backups but would rather fix this if possible. Maybe a Repair Install would do the trick???

 

New network adaptor

I installed a (TP-Link # TG-3468 network card) into my HPE 410t desktop with Windows 10, I disabled the onboard network driver, but my computer still doesn't recognize the new card. Is there a windows 10 drive for this card or is there something else that
I need to do.

 

Unable to connect to internet over Ethernet after upgrade to Win10, Windows Sockets regsitry enteries missing

Recently upgraded Win7 to Win10, with all recent updates installed. Internet connection over WiFi works, however, unable to connect via Ethernet ever since the upgrade to Win10. Have unistalled/reinstalled network adapters, updated and manually installed
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller driver to latest Win10 driver (version 10.6.1001.2015), have reset netsh winsock, reset IPv4 and IPv6, confirmed there is no VPN software, disabled off Green Ethernet, rebooted a gazillion times.

Only problem I can find is that Windows Network Diagnostics states that: "Windows Sockets registry entries required for network connectivity are missing."

I went out and purchased a new network adapter, TP-Link TG-3468, but found the same problem. This adapter apparently uses the same Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller as my built in Ethernet adapter uses.

Please let me know if there are any solutions beyond all of the obvious ones listed on various web sites to solving this problem.
