    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    Important W10 activation key questions left unanswered by Microsoft

    Upgrade. Upgrade. It's not a full OS, it's a free upgrade to an existing OS.

    If it is already activated, you can download the "240" build and update from there. That is the key part...it has to be activated and listed in your Microsoft Account in order to be upgraded from preview to release. No new activations have been possible for a few now.

    Regarding Windows Activation

    Recently I bought a HP laptop by a vendor with pre-installed Windows10 and activated, but when I asked him for product key, I have told by him that the product is registered with Microsoft so no need
    of product key. How can I check the product is Genuine or not. Please suggest the step to check.
