Windows 10: I recently deleted a profile on my PC but the user file is still there.

I’m trying to delete the user file from my old profile, which is a hefty file. When I deleted it through user profile I think I did it wrong as it kept the file, so now there’s a file still there.Now on “User profiles” it says “Account Unknown” every time I try to delete it, the tab stop responding. I have everything saved to one drive so I’m not too worried about losing much. Is there any other way of deleting “Account Unknown” this profile was my main profile for a long time. Any help would be much appreciated.

1. Are these domain user profiles on the PC or local users?
2. Do you need logging of success/failure/names of deleted profiles, etc. and, if so, seperate logs or a combined one?
3. What filepath to use for any log(s)?

Method 1: You can delete the files and folders from the corrupted user from
File explorer by following the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows logo + E keys on the keyboard to open
  File explorer.
  
• 
  Click on This PC located at the left side panel of the window to open the drives of the PC.
  
• 
  Go to users folder by opening the
  C: drive.
  
• 
  From users folder, locate the user folder you want to delete and
  press Shift + Delete keys on the keyboard.
  
• 
  After the process is complete, close the window and check if the files and folders are deleted.

Annu Singh from the link below to rename the user profile and check if it helps.
