Windows 10: I recently had a BIOS update on windows 11 and now I am not able to sign in.

When I turn on the computer, the login page offers me the option to enter my PIN with no option to say Ive forgotten it. When I enter the correct pin which worked before the recent update, I reive a message "This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again". There are no other sign in options available.How can I fix this issue? Thanks, Fred

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

We'd like to get more information regarding the issue.

1. Are you able to sign in Windows?
   
2. Once you sign in, does the display remains same as it is in the screen shot?
   

We would suggest you to follow steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

1. Unplug all external devices except for keyboard and mouse.
   
2. Load BIOS settings to default.
   
3. Then try to boot the computer.
