How to clear a deleted file name that is stuck in Media Player 11 recent files list?

Follow these steps but please note this will clear recent lists from all apps and not just the jumplist from media player. A single list cannot be cleared :

Press windows and R keys together

Paste in this code and press enter

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

Select all the files in the folder that opens and hit delete.

That is all.

 

How to see the recently added apps list from Start menu on Windows 10 after clear this

Hello,

I have a problem, i don't see recently added app list after clear this. Specifically, I right clicked on any app from the "Recently added apps" list, selected the "More" submenu, and chose the "Clear list" option.
I have tried various methods to fix it, but I still can't see my recently added apps:
1. Settings -Personalization- Turn on the Show recently added apps toggle switch.
2. I have also tried from the "Local group policy editor" - Administrative Templates- Start menu and taskbar- remove recently added list from Start menu - enabled/disabled/previous setting.

What can I do to make my list of recent apps appear again and even show my recently installed apps?

Windows 11 not clearing recent files

Okay, did that... the recent files listed related to the work SharePoint site and the OneDrive account no longer show.

However, I still can't clear out the old recent files listed connected to my own personal OneDrive account... would rather not have to saving my data then doing a restore JUST to clear the recent file list. There's got to be an easier way.
