Windows 10: I recently ran a diagnostic test due to weird things happening to my laptop

Small problems have been accumulating on my laptop since I added a ram stick.for example, my laptop automatically logs me out to lock screen after a couple minutes when I had auto idle off for everything, including in power plan or in settings, but it still does the same thing over and over again, sometimes even when I have full screen application on.secondly I recently encountered screen freezing, basically when I was alt tabbing, it all of a sudden freezes my whole laptop, sometimes black screen, sometimes it went back to my desktop, I can still hear the background sound of the game/youtube

RE: BSOD when running diagnostics on dell laptop

I'm seeing that one minidump is just a bugcheck coming from Driver Verifier, and it's claiming that dddriver64Dcsa.sys is the driver having issues, which is identified as Dell Diags Universal Device Driver. This is weird, as you claim to be using the Dell Diagnostics utility which is accessed right in BIOS, right?

No, I meant that when I'm running the diagnostic through the support/diagnostic section on the Dell website. The Dell link you provided is what is causing me the BSOD. When I run the full-scan the laptop will BSOD at a certain point when trying to load the test. I'm running another memory test (Passmark Memtest) at the moment. I ran the mdsched.exe prior.

I already ran all of the troubleshooting steps you have listed already before posting this question.

 

Memory diagnostic test results not found

This is very unusual that you are unable to find the results for Memory Diagnostic test.



Usually, when the memory diagnostic is complete the results will be stored under Event Viewer. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to access Event Viewer logs for Memory Diagnostic.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type eventvwr and hit enter.
   
3. Now expand Windows Logs and click on
   System.
   

You can use the filter or the find option in Event Viewer to check for specific logs. You can try the steps mentioned below to filter memory diagnostic results in Event Viewer.

1. Right click on System and click on
   Find.
   
2. Now type Memory Diagnostic results and click on
   Find Next
   

This should pull up the results for Memory Diagnostic that you have ran.
