    I have been having ongoing issues with my Dell laptop G5 15 It was updated to windows 11 Home quite a while ago maybe a year+. Off and on I would get a blue screen at startup. Yesterday I was frustrated enough that I decided to do a "refresh" from the cloud to the laptop where you reset the computer to fresh installation but keeping my files. So I went through the prompts, when it started up and opened a Microsoft page that listed items not downloaded from the cloud. Unfortunately, I had to leave for a few hours, I closed my computer figuring I would continue when I had time today. When I

  2. Display Driver kept crashing

    Hello Jimmy,

    Thank you for the update.

    There are some drivers that need new definitions compatible with Windows 10. Till the time they are unavailable you can install the programs compatible with previous versions of operating system in compatibility mode. If you can access the executable (.exe)
    file for the game, I would suggest you to follow the below provided steps:

    Step 1: Download and save the driver on the desktop.

    Step 2: Install the driver in compatibility mode.

    • Right click on the .exe file, and click on Properties.
    • Go to the Compatibility tab.
    • Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for:
    • Select Windows 8 (or any other compatible OS) in the list of Operating systems.
    • Click OK.
    • Double-click the executable file to install the driver and follow the onscreen instructions.
    • Reboot your computer.
    Additional information:

    Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

    Thank you for responding.

    As you were unable to find the updates and fix this issue, we will help you from here.

    I would like to inform that if there are any corrupted drives, updating them may not resolve the issue.

    I suggest you to boot the computer in Safe made, uninstall the existing drivers, download from the manufacturer's website and manually install them on Windows 10 to check if it helps.

    First of all contact the manufacturer's website download the display drivers for your device.

    Step 1: Boot the computer in Safe mode.

    Refer: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10


    Step 2: Uninstall the Display drivers from Device Manager.

    • Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Uninstall.
