Windows 10: I repeatedly get, error 24 on both mouse and keyboard, any tips?

Multiple BSOD Problems (maybe caused by Hardware, Driver)

No yellow questionmarks. Only the Standard PS/2 Keyboard and mouse devices have yellow exclamation marks.

They both have error code 24. I currently do not have (and never had) any PS/2 Devices connected to my computer.

I uninstalled both devices, but after a reboot they both reappeared.

I also checked for ghosted devices, but the change did not reveal any additional devices.

 

USB Keyboard and Mouse issues

I have a Roccat Gaming Keyboard, matched with Talon Blu Gaming Mouse. Recently, it seems windows 10 has been reinstalling both devices' drivers repeatedly.

No error messages appear on screen, yet I will always hear the "usb unplugged" audio sound. After around 3-10 times the audio queue sounds off, the mouse and keyboard will both quit working completely, and constantly flash like they're being booted up for
the first time (both the mouse and keyboard have glowing keys/buttons. Normally, my mouse will start with this weird issue, every time I hear the usb unplugging audio sound, the mouse will quit working for a moment before starting to work again. When I checked
the drivers, almost 12 of the same devices were installed. I disabled and uninstalled the excess drivers, but Windows 10 was repeatedly reinstalling the device, a similarly issue with the keyboard.

This issue didn't occur 2-3 months ago, it seems to refuse to allow my mouse and keyboard to continue working without reinstalling drivers. I've attempted to install device-specific drivers, but windows 10 overrides these drivers for personal drivers instead,
then continues to reinstall these drivers until both mouse and keyboard stop operating completely and a forced reboot is required.

I've tried troubleshooting this issue with windows 10 device troubleshooter for both keyboard and mouse, and it just resets the device during the troubleshoot and says everything is working fine.

Further information, I have 12 USB ports, I've made sure they work properly by utilizing other USB powered devices, from USB media players, phones, webcams, and headphones. Only the mouse and keyboard will have issues regardless of which USB port they're
utilizing, no other device suffers driver re-installations and eventual failure to operate.

Any ideas on what must be done to solidify the driver and stop this issue from reoccurring?

 

Potentially helpful article at How To Fix Code 24 (Error 24). Looks like you've done most of what they recommend, including a clean install. Given that you've replaced the mouse, the only other potential cause is the keyboard. Can you borrow a known good working keyboard from another system and try it to see if that helps. If so, you'll have a potential solution (get another keyboard). If not, you'll have to keep troubleshooting.

update: while troubleshooting i found out that it wants 2.0 usb instead of 3.0 , despite me changing em to 2.0...
