Windows 10: i reset my laptop and its stuck on the services page, then i cant do anything anymore, also...

Resetting the laptop stuck at 99%

Original Title: reset laptop

I bought an Acer. When the laptop was switched on at the shop, i skipped the step where i had to insert my microsoft email add.

The laptop was functioning normally, windows 10 were installed. Then at home, i tried to sign in but it didnt work out. I went back to the shop and they had to reset the laptop but its stuck at 99%. The resetting is taking hours and hours. Is this normal?
All programs have been lost as well. Please help.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I understand your Lumia 610 keeps getting stuck on step 6 of the update that you're trying to install. I can provide you a few steps to try in an effort to resolve the update issue.



There are a couple of different steps on a support page located at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484 that we'll want to try. I would suggest the steps for stuck in download mode, stuck at OEM splash screen, and error not listed on this page.



Before performing the suggested reset under the steps for error not listed, I would first suggest trying a soft reset. If you're able to remove the battery, leaving it out of the phone for a few minutes will soft reset the phone. Another option for performing
a soft reset would be to hold the power and volume down buttons until the phone has restarted completely.



Please let us know if any of these suggestions are helpful to your update issue.

Chrome is stuck at "establishing secure connection..." on all pages

Had my hands on the solution once, forgot the trick, but here it was

I only needed step 3. to fix my challenge, no reboot, no restart of chrome. It worked straight away.
100% the solution I needed.

Been battling this challenge for months on several machines with different profiles to no prevail.
Most of the suggestions in here and other places have been tried without success. So this solution is it.


Have now documented it, it seems to return for some reason.
