Windows 10: I reset my pc to factory settings and now my screen isnt working good anymore.

I reset my pc to the factory settings and now when there is a new frame my screen won't refresh it.I already know that it is not bescause of my monitor because i attached it to my laptop and then everything worked fine.My GPU is a Intel Arc a750My CPU is a Intel core i7-9700FMy Motherboard is a ASUSTeK PRIME B365M-KOr is there some setting wrong in my bios maybe?I hope someone can help me.

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

Can't acces "reset to factory settings" anymore

Hi,

I have a problem since 4-5 month : i cant acces the "factory reset" option anymore. When i go in "settings > update and security > Recovery > Reset this PC" the factoy reset option doesnt show up anymore. I used to do factory resets like
every year to clean up the PC and never had this problem before (last factory reset was in june 2017 and worked perfectly).

Now i only have access to "keep my files" and "remove everything options" (by the way both option stopped working too and now display the "there was a problem resetting your PC, no change were made" error).

Also i have the same issue if i try to access factory reset by advanced start.

Here are the specs :

laptop : Asus ROG G56jr

Windows 10 Family edition (updated from a factory provided Windows 8.1)

version 1709

OS build : 16299.248

I have to say it's a pretty annoying issue cause i'm now stuck and can't go back to a clean install as i used to do.

Does anyone have an idea how to get back that "factory reset" option ?
