Windows 10: I restart my laptop for an updates and all my personal item gone after that .

Hi, today I restart my laptop when the suggest pop up to restart and update. So after the restart , I login back and see that my windows have change and I lost all my personal item such as picture, video,music. How to get it back please? It seems like my laptop install KB5060533 windows update on 11th June 2025.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
