    I am running Windows 11 Home Edition. When I set the display to turn off after a minute the display does go dark but a second later the screen turns on again.

    Screen goes to sleep after 2 to 3 minutes of inactivity

    Ever since upgrading to Windows 10, my surface pro appears to go to sleep after 2 to 3 minutes of inactivity. This happens on both battery and wired power. The screen goes dark, stays dark for a few seconds and then the lockscreen appears. Settings are
    set to turn off the display after 5 minutes on battery, 30 minutes on power. Sleep settings are 30 minutes for both battery and power. This issue does not appear on a desktop running Windows 10. Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks.

    Why does the screen on a portable go dark after a minute without use when all power sleep settings are set to never.
