I set up a slideshow theme with 20 images for my desktop but it only shows one of the images and does not automatically change to a new image. How do I get it to change?

I've already fixed both problems. With shuffle I changed it with regedit. but I'm suggesting your guideline is more simple.

re 20 images: Yes it was only about 20 images if switching with "Next desktop background" or waiting until it changes automatically. I discovered that issue was caused by using my PC and my Laptop at the same time, while I was logged in with the same Hotmail
account and with "synchronization account settings on different devices" feature switched on. It seems that in case when you are using desktop slideshow on 2 PCs simultaneously WIN10 on 2nd machine takes photos from 1st machine via Internet, and there is a
memory buffer that could allow only about 20 large images or something like that (I understood that when 2nd machine started showing pictures on slideshow from the folder that was physically located on 1st machine (where that folder was set for showing desktop
slideshow for 1-st machine), ignoring local setting on 2nd machine that was set to show pictures from another local folder). And there was only about 20 images again and then from first reapeating.

So, I switched off account setting synchronizing on both machines and now it works normally on both machines.

 

The desktop background feature is not visable on the personalization page. I want to create a theme with and slideshow of pictures. Can someone list the steps?

Slideshow theme causes File Explorer to scroll to top whenever image changes...

Since upgrading to Windows 10 on my PC, using a Slideshow theme as the Desktop background causes File Explorer to scroll to the top every time the image on the slideshow changes. This is rather frustrating if you have more than a screenful of data or photos,
etc. to scroll through.

Using any of my non-slideshow themes causes no problems.

If I use a custom color - IOW the color does not change with the Slideshow but remains constant - File Manager behaves properly.

Any suggestions? I enjoy my slideshow and it is a pain (location of pain left up to reader) to have to disable it/set a custom color for File Manager to not bounce about...
