Windows 10: I shutdown my pc bc my games kept crashing now im in a temporary profile and my windows 11...

I don't know how to leave a temp profile or fix the update looping, once the update hit 100% nothing pops up and it goes back too 0% please help

Temporary Profile in Windows 10

In Windows 10 MOST PC's startup with temporary profile, after an 'unexpected' shutdown.

(unexpected shutdown=power failure, program crash or shutdown by holding the 'power' button pressed for more than 5 sec.)

You cannot access your data when logged in with this profile, but your data and settings are still present on the hard disc.

A normal 'shutdown'-'startup' (=fast startup) will keep starting with the 'temporary' profile.

However a FULL restart (=slow startup) should solve this behaviour.

On the START menu, click the power icon

and click Restart.

('Restart' boots the PC from 'zero' while 'shutdown-start' boots the PC from a saved OS state on harddisc, which is faster.)

 

Windows 10 Temporary Profile

A temporary profile is used if your regular profile's data file couldn't be loaded. Many times, this is just a temporary condition and rebooting the computer will clear it, so that'd be my first suggestion.

PS. Don't do anything important while logged in to the temp profile: everything saved there is lost when you shutdown/restart/logout.
