    I spiled milk on my laptop... X_X


    So, I spilled milk on my laptop yesterday and I cleaned it up to the best pf my ability. Now today the mouse pad is not working and when i restarted my computer it made it better for a second and then only the left side would not work, please help me

    Quick question, can milk turn off a keyboard shortcut?

    Here's the story of how it happened:

    I was playing ROBLOX, i saw something funny in the chat, and I had milk in my mouth. The result? I spit up milk on my laptop. This morning I was going to play a game, and i was going to copy paste a songid, and ctrl + c wasn't working. Weird enough, the
    keys ctrl and c were working.

    I am confused, so can someone please help me?

    By the way, can you add technical issues to the topics please? I am using some random ones just to get this submitted.

    You've posted in the wrong forum. There is a Windows\Devices and Drivers forum where I will move this thread.

    Milk as it dries becomes sticky. If the milk weren't immediately cleaned up, it may cause the keys to stick. Plus, if you don't clean the keyboard on a regular basis you may add "dust bunnies" mixed in with the drying milk. This could cause an issue.

    Did Ctrl + C work with the game prior to the spilled milk issue?

    Have you tried taking a qtip with a little bit of alcohol to clean around the keys?
