Windows 10: I started my new One Drive Account - Now Have Weird "X" on Computer ???

Today ,on my new Windows 10 laptop, I made a new One Drive Account.

It immediately started loading up Desktop, Documents and Picture folders from my computer. This took a while and suddenly, I have "little red circles with X's" **** the Desktop, Documents, Pictures on my laptop including in my c:/user/username file See photo below.


There was a message that I had run out of space on One Drive. It offered me the chance to increase my storage.

I do not want to pay for space on One Drive now ... In fact, I did not want it to automatically upload any folders on my computer. I assumed I would be able to select what I wanted to upload to One Drive.


So.... H****es that aut****on also remove all the circle X's on my laptop ?.


I looked at the One Drive Settings on the Taskbar Icon and it seems to say that if I remove these files from One Drive .... They will also be removed from my laptop ?? How can this be ??? I am totally confused.


I do not want anything aut****p me "fix" this pr****es on my new computer.

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

To change the Account type follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on change your account type.
  
• 
  Select standard account.
  

To delete the account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Select the user account.
  
• 
  Click on Delete the account.
  

To create the new user account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Click on Add A new user in PC setting.

Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
