Windows 10: I suddenly can't press W and A, W and D at the same time

    Pressing w minimizes active window

    Has anyone seen an issue in Windows 10 Pro, where pressing w in a search bar in file explorer, Virtual DJ 8, or Serato DJ on a laptop, minimizes the active window and shows all windows and a vertical timeline? Pressing W (capital w) doesn't do this only
    lower-case w. CTRL-ALT-P seems to fix this, but I want to know why and if I can prevent this from occurring every time I boot up the laptop because it is destroying my DJ performances.

    W D updates

    I find W10 updates very frustrating most of the time, for instance, an update for Windows Defender which fails repeatedly. Then I open up W D, click on update and it runs the code with no trouble. This is not a one off, it's happened three times with this build (10074).

    Sign in without p/w issue

    Did a clean install of Windows 10 and updated it to the version shown.
    Trying to eliminate the need for p/w at sign in, I ran netplwiz as I have always done.

    Top USER ACCOUNTS is from the Install I've been upgrading for a long time
    Bottom USER ACCOUNTS is from today's clean install on another machine

    There is no:
    "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" to uncheck
    in the clean install
    I have never seen this before and can't by pass the sign in p/w step

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated
