Windows 10: I SUDDENYL DONT HAVE ACCESS TO MICROSOFT INBUILT APPS, XBOX GAME BAR, NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL

Recently I started facing this problem where I cant have access to -Microsoft store-MIcrosfot 365-video / image player-Xbox gamebar-Nvidia game barsome unusual things that I have noticed is that, somehow my Geforce Experience was itself uninstalled, I dont know how, and I reinstalled it, but I am still unable use the Nvidia control panel.Secondly, I found out that my Inetcache files are missing from where they are supposed to be.What I have tried so far:- I did troubleshotting, in the process I found out that there are some internet files missing,but it said that it couldnt detect my problem i

Nvidia Control Panel app(?) not working

I decided to update my nvidia drivers, so I downloaded the latest game ready driver package for my gtx 960, used nvslimmer to trim away the stuff I don't want installed, leaving the install core, physX, and the display drivers, updated, and it seems to have went fine

then I get the following error when I right click and use the nvidia control panel context menu option

The system could not find the filter specified

So I used the steps here to make a backup of the windowsapps folder perms and give myself full unrestricted read/write access, unhide the windowsapps folder, navigate to the folder containing the nvidia control panel, use the nvcplui.exe, and the control panel opens and works just fine

why did nvidia decide to make the control panel a windows app (or a sorta app from what I read up on it), and what must I do to fix the problem I have above

alright, after doing a clean sweep of all things nvidia from my computer, and booting into safemode (minimal) to delete one stubborn folder, I went back into normal boot, and installed the standard version driver of 441.66 from nvidia's older driver archives, and surprise surprise, it brought back the regular non-windows app version control panel

 

Windows 11 - Xbox Controller doesn't open game bar

You can open the Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10 using a controller by following these steps:

Connect your controller to your PC via USB cable or Bluetooth connection.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Xbox app.

Once the Xbox app is open, press the Xbox button again to open the Guide.

Scroll down to the "Capture & share" option, which should be located near the bottom of the Guide.

Press the A button on your controller to select "Capture & share".

In the "Capture & share" menu, you should see an option for "Xbox Game Bar". Use the D-pad on your controller to highlight "Xbox Game Bar" and then press the A button to select it.

The Xbox Game Bar should now open on your screen.

The Game DVR feature and specifically the in-game Game Bar that appears in compatible applications, is controlled by the Xbox Universal Windows Platform application, which is one of the default provisioned UWP applications.

In order to disable the Game DVR you have to disable it within the Xbox application.

Once you disable the Game DVR functionality it will stay disabled.

In order to turn UAC competely, open regedit, and navigate to following location.

You are going to have to modify the value of EnableLUA to 0. Setting the UAC setting to it's lowest setting, within the Control Panel on Windows 10, does not actually disable UAC.
