I swapped my motherboard in my pc and didn't make a recovery usb. What do I do?

I was going to build a pc for my nephew, but mistakenly bought a full atx motherboard instead of a micro. I noticed that my motherboard was a micro atx board though and noticed the new board I bought was really nice, so I just swapped it so that my nephew could have a working pc but now I can't reinstall my windows 10 because it says I need a usb or disc. I really don't know what to do because my old motherboard is currently in my nephew's pc and I didn't know I needed recovery media to reinstall windows 10. I thought I just needed the key which I already have.

    :)

Swap from Asus board to Gigabyte

I have swapped motherboard and I'm stuck with the Asus Asio.sys BSOD. Have found suggestions to re-install windows to change to Gigabyte motherboard software. Have tried from USB but can only get the option to install and delete files which seems a bit extreme,
isn't there a keep files option any more?
