Windows 10: I.T developers and Eyesight -- another Gripe --TOO SMALL TEXT

Hi there

Perennial gripe - but I really think anybody who wants to be an I.T developer should be FORCED to wear glasses that inhibits their eye sight a little so the rest of us can finally get screens we can actually READ easily.

Don't people at Ms ever test this stuff.

If reading the SAVE AS bit at the bottom of my screenshot is clear then good luck to you -- IE here seems to have the web pages OK but the little pop up at the bottom is HIDEOUSLY small.

C'mon guys --we aren't all 15 years old again on our computers. I don't have too bad eyesight but this is getting almost impossible to read again.

Inbox message in blue with blue numbers

My new Asha 503 does not appear to have any control for changing themes or profiles in the settings! Is this right, is this how they are or just my phone? The problems are that the written text, contacts and numbers way too small for someone who's eyesight
not perfect, there is no way to make text or anything bigger?

My biggest gripe is when someone messages me, thier message is contained in blue box (highlighted so easy to know it is inbox) but if someone puts in a number ie, someones contact or a price the numbers by default are also in blue, which in the blue highlighted
box makes it almost impossible to read. Surely this can be altered? If not this is a very poor sotware that has not been thought out!

Any help appreciated!

 

E71 Nokia Messaging Zoom settings.

My eyesight is not so good. The standard size of the text on an E71 is too small for me. I have to select "Zoom, 125%" for each mail I read. This is extremely irritating and there is no global switch.



This IMHO is a serious design flaw. The software version is Build 9.7.0.2

I'm with you, jimbo.

The first thing I do with any installation is jack up the overall display dpi, and then a few individual elements on top of that. Then I can operate relatively comfortably. But some things they make so tiny, it's quite aggravating...

 

I agree completely!

I also detest web pages and software that uses light gray type. I'd like to poke the designers in the eye with a rusty nail!
