I have a windows 11 Acer aspire 5 that I bought maybe a month ago, anyways, I went to download a somewhat large file and noticed I didn't have enough space, I was quite confused so I did some research, and downloaded a 3rd party program that scanned for large files, I noticed that my program files had well over 100GB of space being taken up, so this being a new computer, I was quite mad, so I deleted it, it took a few minutes, and multiple times I got a popup that said a file can't deleted so I assumed that if there were any really important files that could impact my computer it would ask me,

    :)

I Think CCleaner Deleted My AsusSetup Log File

Is your system misbehaving or programs crashing/not starting, then no... don't worry about a log file.

However, you keep calling it an inii file... do you mean it is an .ini file; if so, run the program the file is for, open the options menu, set the options, save the options... it will probably re-wite the .ini file.

If, it won't start, then try a repair on the program or re-install the program affected.

CCleaner deleted it,because it is set to delete log files, temp files, etc. as default.
It is a program, you must set its options and tell it what to do and not to do.

I Think CCleaner Deleted My AsusSetup Log File

Do I have to recover this log file? Is it important? Why did CCleaner delete it?

Does the free version of Recuva recover deleted files? It doesn't say in the description.

The free version does recover data. I've used to quite a few times to save peoples data.
