  1. I think I got malware from the 3D Objects app

As of making this post, I think I have malware on my laptop.

I was looking thru Task View, and one of th days within the last month, it showed that I ran a 3d objects, a bee object. I don't remember running such file, so I tried to look into file info, and I accidentally launched it. 3D Objects tried to run it, and it kept running into an error, and then the file showed up in Recent Files part of Quick Access, and I ran my antivirus software (ESET Internet security), and it said it couldn't detect it either, nor it's path. I also right-clicked on the file to find it's File Location, and it keeps saying that the Location is not available. So, I don't know what to do next.

  2. Mustachio Win User

Tried moving User objects, now 3D Objects shows as a folder

Want to move my User settings to another partition but non-tenforums steps are wrong. Now my 3D Objects appears as a folder 'Dave', in my User folder alongside Pictures, etc. (I moved it back there.)

I've read the tutorials on this site and will follow. But how do I make my 3D Objects have it's true name again?
I'm not sure it is not in fact a folder. On the other partition it would sometimes appear as 3D Objects yet other times appear as folder Dave.

    Thank you very much,

  3. How to change 3D Object colors in Windows 10?

*Original Title: 3d Object colors in Windows 10

I need to change the color of the "3D Objects" but I am using Windows 10 and I don't see an advanced options section.

    Any suggestions?

Sending 3D created files as an email attachment

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Usually, the 3D files saved from Mixed reality viewer or Paint 3D will be saved in the folder 3D Objects on the PC.

Since you want to send the 3D file that you created as an email attachment, you can do it by going to the email app you are using and attach the file by locating the 3D objects folder. Follow the steps to locate the 3D objects folder while attaching
    the 3D file.

    1. Click on the Attachment option on the email app.
    2. Now on the attachment window locate This PC on the left hand side pane.
    3. The 3D Objects folder will be under Folders on the right hand side pane.

    Hope it helps.
