Windows 10: I think joy.cpl is corrupted.

my Bluetooth controller keep pressing a button. I checked joy.cpl and I see that the button 5 is pressed all the time, but when I eliminate it from Bluetooth and reconnect it works fine till I press any key, then it start to keep pressing button 5.

I tryed to run sfc /scannow but no fix. I use an dualshock 4 ps4 controller with an bluetooth addapter. I checked for updates in device manager and all are fine, i tryed emulators like ds4windows, but still no fix. in ds4 you can see what buttons you pressing and look like controller work fine I try to recalibrate it form joy.cpl or to reset controller settings from there but still no fix. I searched on google and it say it could be joy.cpl file corrupted.

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
As MS is going to release a fix I think I'll wait until then and see what happens. If it doesn't work I'll try your fix which appears logical. I've been trying for a couple of days to get it to update and have tried most of the steps your suggest but not necessarily together.

1. How old is your hard drive?
2. laptop or desktop?
3. What makes you think it is corrupted?
