    I think my computer downloaded a Trojan and I can't be rid of it. Help


    I'm having a lot of issues. My computer installed a virus as far as I searched it's possible it's i think a Rootkil or stayscreen sort of Trojan. I can't find my windows defender application nor can I install any virus software on my computer because I get the error message, "The requested resource is in use".
    I'm currently logged into my PC via safe mode. Please help me get rid of this thing!

    Help I got a virus and can't get rid of it

    People of cyberland I have a huge problem.... It seems that an evil empire has taken control of my computer and is quite insistent that I need windows 10, that I want windows 10, that the world will come to an end as I know it if I don't get windows 10!

    Now don't get me wrong windows 10 is a fine program, I have it on a number of other computers.......5 to be exact.... and I know that windows 10 is a free upgrade and it is very nice of microsoft to give it away for free..... but alas I do not want it on
    this computer....and it does not play well with software that I run on this computer and there for have been clicking the little bugger that keeps telling me I need to do this.....but after 4 months of clicking the little X to not install this virus I think
    enough is enough

    microsoft has taken it upon itself to install software on my computer that I do not want, they have made it very easy to say yes too but very difficult to say no too......This is very wrong and should constitute a class action law suit in my opinion.

    As i said windows 10 is free and microsoft is being very generous with it, may I remind the fine people of microsoft that gonorrhea is also a freebie but I also would prefer not have it, but at least with gonorrhea there is penicillin....... I also would
    prefer not to get syphilis, HIV, Herpes or even cancer even though they are all freebies.

    Bottom line is I am expecting microsoft to once again invade my computer and remove the unwanted **** that they are trying to destroy my livelihood with!

    By "stayscreen" do you mean browser captured?...if so turn off computer, disconnect router from power source, wait a few seconds then reconnect power to router and fire up computer.

    Rookit and smartservice I believe they're called. It's a Trojan that's got minor control on my computer. I BELIEVE. I'm not entire 100% Sure.
    It's installing a bunch of programs, its opening pornographic websites, ads and installed a new search engine on my browser. I've tried to scan one of my HDD with defender and it's telling me, "this app is turned off by group policy".
    And the application to run windows defender is gone.
    I cannot open anything virus scanning related nor install them. Even in safe mode.
